Office 2007
As many customers will know the new Microsoft Office 2007 document format is a ZIP file, and Microsoft Office 2007 uses '.bin' extensions for printer settings, so such printer settings would be policy blocked as in violation of nested '.bin' attachment policy (for customers enforcing such a policy).
Network Box Feature Update
As part of our ongoing development program, Network Box announces new features to the user interface. This is part of your service agreement and is at no extra charge. As this will mean an interruption to normal email service of about two or three minutes, support engineers will be contacting our customers in the next couple of weeks to arrange when this would be convenient.
Unsolicited NDRs Over the past two weeks there has been a marked increase in the amount of Spam messages being sent as bounce messages which is commonly described as ‘back-scatter’. The core of the back-scatter problem is that it is trivial to forge the sender address of an email. In normal SMTP email, there are no protection mechanisms to authenticate the sender's claimed email address.

June saw the UK become the fourth largest producer of spam in the world, and it is now also the fourth largest producer of viruses, according to July threat statistics from managed security company, Network Box.
The number one virus producer remains the US, which has increased production by around one per cent (to 14.6 per cent). But India’s slight increase in production (from 9.2 to 9.5 per cent) was enough to move it to number two in the charts and see Korea drop to third place, with a decline in production of more than three per cent.
