A full range of Network Box models are available to support diverse performance and environmental requirements. These models are designated “S” for Small, “M” for Medium or “E” for Enterprise; and are designed to suit the typical workloads encountered in each organizational type. For example: The Network Box S-85 is designed for small offices. The Network Box M-380 is designed for medium sized offices. And the Network Box E-1000x is designed for enterprises.
The security software running, services available, and protection afforded by all models however, are identical. The differences between models are purely hardware features and performance. Network Boxes can also be easily combined into clusters, running in either high-availability (for redundancy against failure) or load-balancing (for sharing load) modes. Every Network Box is manufactured using quality components and offers an identical combination of world-class, best of breed security solutions.
The Network Box S-35 is designed to protect small offices, home offices and branch offices. It does not have a hard disk drive, relying instead on industrial solid state memory for a system without moving parts. (more)
The Network Box S-85 is designed to protect small offices, home offices and branch offices. It has greater throughput than the S-35 allowing for a natural upgrade path. Like the S-35, it does not have a hard disk drive, relying instead on industrial solid state memory for a system without moving parts. (more)
Designed for medium sized enterprises, the Network Box M-255 allows convenient stand-alone or rack mounted placement.. (more)
Built on the same chassis as the popular M-255 model, the M-285 uses a faster Pentium M processor for increased throughput. (more)
The Network Box M-380 is the flagship of the "M" series, and is designed to protect medium-sized organizations which require high performance. As standard, the Network Box M-380 includes four independent Gigabit network ports; however this model can be expanded to eight independent Gigabit ports at any time, using an optionally available module. “The [Network Box] managed service aspect is important to us as it not only saves a lot time but also gives us the confidence of knowing that the system in place is always up-to-date. We were surprised to see that it was also much more cost-effective.”

June saw the UK become the fourth largest producer of spam in the world, and it is now also the fourth largest producer of viruses, according to July threat statistics from managed security company, Network Box.
The number one virus producer remains the US, which has increased production by around one per cent (to 14.6 per cent). But India’s slight increase in production (from 9.2 to 9.5 per cent) was enough to move it to number two in the charts and see Korea drop to third place, with a decline in production of more than three per cent.
